Mrs. Frozen Yogurt's Picture
Mrs. Frozen Yogurt, Dallas Age and Occupation: 28, Special Projects Coordinator Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Equity Trader Engagement Date: March 19, 2009 Wedding Date: April 2010 Venue: Marie Gabrielle, Dallas About Me: I was born and raised in Texas, and have lived in several of the cities across the state, but I currently reside in Austin. I went to college in Boston and have a special place in my heart for the Northeast. I love reading, shopping, wine, reuniting with college friends that are scattered across the country, reality TV, trying out new recipes, and attempting all the DIY projects that come along with wedding planning. I'm a "bleeding heart, save the world type" and thankfully my job allows me to work on legislation and policy to help out those in need. I met Mr. Frozen Yogurt in a bar, though he doesn't even drink! And now we are planning a modern yet vintage wedding in Dallas while dealing with the trials and tribulations of first time homeownership.
About Mrs. Frozen Yogurt

Oh, Lighting

September 4th, 2009 @ 3:18 pm by Mrs. Frozen Yogurt

So lately I’ve been seeing some very beautiful things as I try to gather inspiration for the wedding. In the past I would see pretty things and think, ‘oh that’s nice,’ and now I think, ‘oh that’s nice, how can I incorporate that into our wedding?’ My latest obsession is these lanterns. They are gorgeous and totally impractical. I have no where to put these, and they don’t match any of the colors we’re going with, really. The venue provides tiki torches already, but for some reason I’m lusting after these from Home Infatuation:

Oh, Lighting : wedding decor reception Color Lanterns color-lanterns

Can you think of any ways I might be able to incorporate these into the wedding? Or can you all use them in your wedding so I can live vicariously through you all ?

Ooh, so pretty! Are you having any pre-wedding events you can use them at? Maybe your rehearsal dinner?

Love these! How about cocktail hour or the rehearsal dinner? I throw all my random bits of love into our cocktail and rehearsal decor… haha!

I love these! One of my color is turquoise and I wish I could use them. Unfortunately our venue has an open flame law so I don’t think I can…

So pretty — I’ll take them for my patio :) They would also be pretty great for the RD.

Rehearsal dinner? You still get to keep them for backyard picnics of the future.

those are so pretty! Do you have any places you need to light up? Aisles or walk-ways?
