Mrs. Frozen Yogurt's Picture
Mrs. Frozen Yogurt, Dallas Age and Occupation: 28, Special Projects Coordinator Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Equity Trader Engagement Date: March 19, 2009 Wedding Date: April 2010 Venue: Marie Gabrielle, Dallas About Me: I was born and raised in Texas, and have lived in several of the cities across the state, but I currently reside in Austin. I went to college in Boston and have a special place in my heart for the Northeast. I love reading, shopping, wine, reuniting with college friends that are scattered across the country, reality TV, trying out new recipes, and attempting all the DIY projects that come along with wedding planning. I'm a "bleeding heart, save the world type" and thankfully my job allows me to work on legislation and policy to help out those in need. I met Mr. Frozen Yogurt in a bar, though he doesn't even drink! And now we are planning a modern yet vintage wedding in Dallas while dealing with the trials and tribulations of first time homeownership.

Monogram

September 12th, 2009 @ 11:30 am by Mrs. Frozen Yogurt

I didn’t think I wanted a monogram for our wedding at all. It wasn’t really something that I thought about and said “no” to, it was just that I didn’t really think about it all. That is, until now.

I was on Brooklyn Bride’s site and fell in love with the most gorgeous stationery ever, and now I think I want a monogram for us somewhere. Maybe on the back of the envelope like they did, or perhaps at the top of our save the date paper invitation that will accompany the magnet (yes, that’s what we decided on). These are letterpress, which is crazy expensive, but a flat monogram like that would still be gorgeous. Swoon!

These are gorgeous! Definitely would look fine without the letterpress!

Those are so pretty!

I wasn’t all about the monogram either until I realized ours works out to ABC! So we are using it on our DIY thank-yous and maybe on our STD magnets

Ah, I love that color combination. I originally thought about doing monograms, I keep changing my mind.

love it! i debated monograms for a while as well, and ended up compromising with a monogram-like ‘logo’ of our names =)

Love it! My biggest regret now is not having a monogram to tie in throughout the wedding…all of our paper products feel a bit all over the place…ah well! :)

I think branding a wedding is excellent if done correctly and these look really good.

Ah! Super cute! Our invitations actually spawned our monogram (A little dotted circle that we put our initials inside). I love it, and had it made into a stamp for our return-address :)

Our “monogram” was two overlapping circles with our first initials inside each, and a plus sign in the section where they overlap. Subtle. I liked it. We made it into a stamp like pvaulter718, from http://www.simonstamp.com.

Those are gorgeous! We used our initials (which are J and K) instead of a monogram since I’m not changing my name right away.

Hi there! So glad you love our Graham suite. We do actually offer this in offset (as well as letterpress), a high quality flat printing process, which definitely helps make it more accessible for a wider range of budgets. We’re always happy to offset print using the same inks on our bamboo paper so it’s still really beautiful. Hope this helps!
