If you remember, I was all over the place looking at cakes. And I have been stressing about this little decision for far too long now. It was time to buckle down, make a decision, and let it go (which has really become the theme of all of my decisions these days, actually).
I pulled up the now very large wedding folder on my computer, clicked on the “cakes” sub-folder, and was determined to make a decision. No more searching the knot, Weddingbee bios, or even the wiki. I had close to a hundred cakes saved already that I liked, so I needed to choose one and be done with it.
Sure enough, it was right there and had been there all along. I had originally saved the picture back in May of LAST YEAR.
She’s beautiful, simple with just a bit of detail, and just what I wanted. I’m kicking myself for saving all of those pictures over and over and never bothering to go back to the beginning. Oh well; I’m moving on to the next decisions to be made.
Did you stress about any decisions to only go back and pick what you liked in the beginning?
It’s a lovely cake! I’ve always preferred simple, too.

beautiful! Since i was at a great girlfriends wedding last summer who had cupcakes (that were AMAZING), i’ve only had cupcakes! So, I have a cupcake folder!
such a classic cake! i actually am not too far from my original inspiration. i had saved a picture of these lovely mini cakes at first and after looking at many other cakes, i’m set on cupcakes!

You know, sometimes I think the Internet makes wedding planning HARDER in some ways. So many things to choose from!

That cake is beautiful! And yes, I stress about my decisions and choices and end up picking the first thing I liked all along! It’s so frustrating!
I understand, I have lots andlots of folders with lots andlots of pictures and spend way to much time researching. Sometimes you just have to decide. Great choice, it looks yum!
