I’m wondering how long I’ll be obsessed with WB post-wedding day. At first, I thought, “wow, I can’t believe so many already-marrieds read this” and now I’m thinking I’ll be sticking my foot in my mouth. Ooops.

Miss Star, I thought like you did, but its been almost 3 months since my day, and if anything, I think I might be even more obsessed with WB! I miss the planning :)…AND I got too excited by all the bees (including you!) to leave before I saw their wedding recaps!

@Miss Star: Hehehe that was my concern when Mrs. Bee first asked me if I wanted to help out editing weddingbee right around when I got married. I thought… what if I’m TOTALLY over this? But, in the end, I absorb every single post every bee writes and I love it. It’s really fun to read about relationship stories, in the end, even if you’re already married. Reading about people super in love is totally uplifting, even if you’re having a crappy day

I’ve been married for just over a year– and my excuse is that there are still recaps from brides that were getting married the same summer as me, but honestly, although I skip a lot of the posts now, I still love the ones that speak from the heart and tell about the non- paper/dress/craft side of weddings.

I fall into the “other” category. I’m as single as a person can be, and don’t know anyone who’s getting married….I just love weddings. I follow Wedding Bee obsessively - just for the pure fun and pretty pictures! (besides, a girl can dream, right?)

i got married a year and a half ago… but i can’t stop reading! i do skip some posts, like music selections (sorry bees!) because it’s not something i have to worry about anymore and there are no pretty pictures. but other than that, i like to keep up with y’all!

also married and also skip reading most of the posts but I still read the posts that have a wider applicability like shoes, stationery (good for baby announcements too!), cute everyday dresses, reviews of products like kitchen utensils and makeup products, new etsy vendors that don’t just do wedding stuff, etc.

But I do still look at every Bee’s wedding dress post

Technically/legally married - but no one except for my mom & dad - his mom (who’s sword not to tell his dad, lol) - and our best friends (my MOH - who’d have killed me if I didn’t tell her - and her husband, plus they were our witnesses) know.

But as far as 9/10ths of the people we know, know - they all think we’re engaged.

We got legal for insurance reasons - so he could be placed on my insurance immediately and have desperately needed surgery this year.

HOWEVER - our wedding isn’t until June 26th, 2010!

I can’t stop reading Weddingbee. I took Style me Pretty, Elizabeth Anne, Southern Weddings etc off my Google reader, but I’m addicted to Weddingbee! I just love all the stories in one place. I’ve been maried nearly a year. It’s staaarting to feel normal now.

Ok, so I’ve been married almost 27 years. Two amazing kids, I’ve always worked, husband is a dream. We’ve had our down time, but most of my life has been up. The only thing we didn’t do was have a wedding. We eloped, and I know that I wouldn’t have changed this part at all. But boy, I would have had the reception of a lifetime. I love reading what all you girls are planning, and I’ve learned alot about wedding rules and such. I also was given the gift of totally planning the reception for my sister’s very tiny second wedding, and I got some great ideas from here. Thank you. Kathy
