Miss Frozen Yogurt's Picture
Miss Frozen Yogurt, Dallas Age and Occupation: 28, Special Projects Coordinator Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Equity Trader Engagement Date: March 19, 2009 Wedding Date: April 2010 Venue: Marie Gabrielle, Dallas About Me: I was born and raised in Texas, and have lived in several of the cities across the state, but I currently reside in Austin. I went to college in Boston and have a special place in my heart for the Northeast. I love reading, shopping, wine, reuniting with college friends that are scattered across the country, reality TV, trying out new recipes, and attempting all the DIY projects that come along with wedding planning. I'm a "bleeding heart, save the world type" and thankfully my job allows me to work on legislation and policy to help out those in need. I met Mr. Frozen Yogurt in a bar, though he doesn't even drink! And now we are planning a modern yet vintage wedding in Dallas while dealing with the trials and tribulations of first time homeownership.

Petticoats for the Flower Girls?

September 23rd, 2009 @ 11:53 am by Miss Frozen Yogurt

Yep, that’s right. I won’t be the only girl sweating underneath a large layer of clothing; my flower girls will be wearing petticoats, but not underneath their dresses. The petticoats will be their skirts. What will they pair with this beautiful skirt? A cute white tank! They are from Oopsy Daisy Baby, and I am totally smitten by them. Plus, I know that every little girl loves a dress that twirls. Look at how adorable they are:

What I can’t decide on is what color the rosettes should be on the tank. Here’s a close up of the rosettes:

I didn’t see green rosettes as an option. The only green option is a green tank, but I would still want them to wear a white skirt.

I’m thinking we need green rosettes on a white tank. What do you think?

Oooh! I love these! I just made my niece a tutu out of tulle for her birthday and I can’t wait to see her in it. The adorable factor is turned up a notch when little girls are wearing fluffy petticoats and tutus!

Super cute! I love the petticoats so much I almost wish we were having flower girls…

I am not sure about green rosettes looking right though. Something about green flowers always looks kind of off to me.

I have never seen anything as cute as this. We’re not using a flower girl but now I wish we were. Adorable!! The white skirts are the best!

My sister had a petticoat when she was little and never took it off, she freakin’ LOVED that thing! Your flower girls are going to LOVE their petticoats! What a good idea :)
I can see why you’re having trouble picking the tank… how many flower girls do you have? Can you do 1/2 in 1 tank and 1/2 in the other?

@Mrs. French Bulldog: That’s a good idea!! I have 2. They currently already have their tanks with white rosettes, but my sister (my nieces are my flower girls) is thinking about dying them if I want her to. I think they need some color!

green rosettes on a white tank would be well, perfection … what about the green tank with the white skirt though? That would look pretty great, too!
