A while back, Mr. Parfait and I met with an amazing photographer from Nashville named hannahelaine. She was kind, talented, and an answer to many hopes and prayers! I wanted (yearned and ached for) engagement pictures but was having trouble convincing Mr. Parfait that it’s perfectly normal, and actually quite common,  to take these shots. I wanted a fabulous photographer, but had no idea how to find one. Either divine providence or my addiction to Weddingbee led me to find her name in the ‘bee Classifieds!

We have a zillion pictures together, so I wanted our e-pix to be extraordinary! And thanks to hannahelaine, I believe they were.

Recognize the setting? We originally planned to take pictures around Millennium Park at the Bean, the bridge, and the Pavilion. We snapped some pictures there, but the chilly wind sent us indoors. All of the pictures above were taken at Navy Pier, where we found refuge from the cold and lots of great photo spots! Now, wherever we go, I spot places that would be perfect for a little photo shoot.
