About Mrs. Espresso

Family photos… we love them. I grew up with 2 parents who were passionate about photography, and who in turn, passed their love onto me. Mr. Espresso has since become enthralled as well—and so we knew we wanted tons of photos on our wedding day… especially with our new families.

Here we are with Mr. Espresso’s family. All family portraits were taken in front of the bed & breakfast.

1

Three very important men in my life: my brother, my dad, and Mr. Espresso. While in between houses, Mr. E actually lived with my dad and brother for a while, which has made them all very close.

2

Us with Mama Espresso

3

And with my step dad.

4

With my Papa and Grandma Chicken. Growing up, one grandma had chickens and one had cows, so I named them accordingly. I later learned to stop calling my other grandma, “Grandma Cow” however, :) but I have never stopped calling this one Grandma Chicken.

5

Me and my mama. Mr. Espresso and I each took individual photos with our parents, as well. I’ll just show you a couple:

6

Me and my cute ol’ dad:

7

I think this is the only serious family photo we have, but I totally love it. Mr. Espresso looks so much like both of his parents.

8

And then we come to some sibling pics…

9

This last is one of my favorites from the entire day. Having this picture with both of our brothers and sisters means so much to us, especially since my brother is now living in Montana. This is the first and only we have like this.

Do you have a planned out list of all the family portraits you want? Are you going to wing it like us?

You look sooo much like your mom! Great pics and beautiful bouquets too! We’ll be winging our family portraits I think. I don’t want people to stand around waiting to take certain pictures, I want them to go enjoy the cocktail hour!!

I love seeing all of your photos, Espresso. I can’t get over how pretty you are!

We’ll probably wing it, because that’s just how we are. But I am excited to get some nice family portraits! Mr. D, FFIL and FBIL are all over 6′8″. My dad’s 5′6″! It’ll make for some fun pictures!

I love the crisp, woodsy feel of all these pics — from the foliage to the B&B in the background. Just beautiful!

We did make a list of the family portraits we wanted and gave it to our photog. It was necessary for us since my hub’s parents were divorced.

I love the background of your family portraits!

I’m definately going to have a list of pictures that’s ten feet long. I think it’s important to get some shots with individual wedding party/family members. When I was MOH, we each got a pic with just us and the couple. Which was good, since I didn’t know the other maids that well.

Those are awesome pictures!! I really like the sibling ones, those are nice to have. You just prompted me to start a list while I’m thinking about it, just so no one gets forgotten!

You know what’s so special about your photos? It’s crystal clear how much love there is in your family. It’s evident in the way you talk about everyone as well. You’re a very lucky woman, Mrs. Espresso!

(P.S. My FI calls me “Chicken” as a term of endearment, so I sort of dig that you call your grandma that as well - so sweet!)

Mrs. E, your family is adorable. I love how ’smiley’ your dad’s eyes are, how sweet your grandparents are, and how beautiful, fun and kind your Mom and sisters (including in-law) look. And your brother and Mr. E–what cuties! LOL Just such a beautiful family! “Million” is right…you can see the love!

you have a gorgeous family! I love that last picture especially. How precious to have all those photos for years to come (especially if getting together for another one is a rarity)

@Ms. Mojito: Thanks so much! They’re all from the flower mart, and put together on the day of :)
@million: Yes, I am very blessed to have so much love in my family. We’ve had our issues with divorce and what not- but we’ve always held onto our love for eachother which has been very important in our family dynamics
@Kat: I love my Dad’s smiley eyes too! And they only become more evident throughout the wedding :)
