Mrs. Espresso, Corona/Big Bear Age and Occupation: 23, Community Services Specialist Fiance's Age and Occupation: 22, Maintenance Technician Engagement Date: December 21, 2007 Wedding Date: October, 2008 Blogging Since: June 25, 2008 Venue: Outside a rustic b&b in Big Bear Lake About Me: I'm a lover of all things good: coffee, music, travel, rain, and of course- my handsome fiance! I'm a full believer in the "Life is Short," mantra - and therefore, eat lots of dark chocolate. I'm a Geographer by degree and nerd by choice. I cook to the sound of French and Portuguese music even though I speak neither. I love road trips, camping, hiking, and capturing life through the lens of my camera. Mr. Espresso and I are high school sweethearts and I am so blessed to be this amazing man's future wife.
About Mrs. Espresso

Family photos… we love them. I grew up with 2 parents who were passionate about photography, and who in turn, passed their love onto me. Mr. Espresso has since become enthralled as well—and so we knew we wanted tons of photos on our wedding day… especially with our new families.

Here we are with Mr. Espresso’s family. All family portraits were taken in front of the bed & breakfast.

Weekend Mountain Wedding: It's All Relative : wedding pictures pro pics recap 1 1

Three very important men in my life: my brother, my dad, and Mr. Espresso. While in between houses, Mr. E actually lived with my dad and brother for a while, which has made them all very close.

And with my step dad.

With my Papa and Grandma Chicken. Growing up, one grandma had chickens and one had cows, so I named them accordingly. I later learned to stop calling my other grandma, “Grandma Cow” however, :) but I have never stopped calling this one Grandma Chicken.

Me and my mama. Mr. Espresso and I each took individual photos with our parents, as well. I’ll just show you a couple:

I think this is the only serious family photo we have, but I totally love it. Mr. Espresso looks so much like both of his parents.

And then we come to some sibling pics…

This last is one of my favorites from the entire day. Having this picture with both of our brothers and sisters means so much to us, especially since my brother is now living in Montana. This is the first and only we have like this.

You look sooo much like your mom! Great pics and beautiful bouquets too! We’ll be winging our family portraits I think. I don’t want people to stand around waiting to take certain pictures, I want them to go enjoy the cocktail hour!!

I love seeing all of your photos, Espresso. I can’t get over how pretty you are!

We’ll probably wing it, because that’s just how we are. But I am excited to get some nice family portraits! Mr. D, FFIL and FBIL are all over 6′8″. My dad’s 5′6″! It’ll make for some fun pictures!

I love the crisp, woodsy feel of all these pics — from the foliage to the B&B in the background. Just beautiful!

We did make a list of the family portraits we wanted and gave it to our photog. It was necessary for us since my hub’s parents were divorced.

I love the background of your family portraits!

I’m definately going to have a list of pictures that’s ten feet long. I think it’s important to get some shots with individual wedding party/family members. When I was MOH, we each got a pic with just us and the couple. Which was good, since I didn’t know the other maids that well.
