Mrs. Espresso's Picture
Mrs. Espresso, Corona/Big Bear Age and Occupation: 23, Community Services Specialist Fiance's Age and Occupation: 22, Maintenance Technician Engagement Date: December 21, 2007 Wedding Date: October, 2008 Blogging Since: June 25, 2008 Venue: Outside a rustic b&b in Big Bear Lake About Me: I'm a lover of all things good: coffee, music, travel, rain, and of course- my handsome fiance! I'm a full believer in the "Life is Short," mantra - and therefore, eat lots of dark chocolate. I'm a Geographer by degree and nerd by choice. I cook to the sound of French and Portuguese music even though I speak neither. I love road trips, camping, hiking, and capturing life through the lens of my camera. Take me to Anthropologie and I may never leave. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging, bargain finds, and old movies. Mr. Espresso and I are high school sweethearts and I am so blessed to be this amazing man's future wife.
About Mrs. Espresso

When Sandie and Ryel arrived that morning, I asked them if they wouldn’t mind caravaning down to the lake for our wedding party portraits. I wanted a different setting than the family ones. They both were as eager about the idea as I was. So, while the guests were enjoying the cocktail hour, we all jumped in a few different cars and drove down to Big Bear Lake.

Because I knew I’d also be STARVING at this point, I had asked our caterer to package up some of the appetizers for all of us to eat. Here is Mr. Espresso and me snacking on some chicken skewers on the drive down.

Weekend Mountain Wedding: The Bridge, Part 1 : wedding pictures pro pics recap 1 1

After we had curbed our hunger, we started doing a little kissing in the backseat… I can’t resist this man, I tell you:

But we were quickly caught by our photographers who started snapping away. :)

After driving around a few points on the lake, we decided that the bridge would probably be the best place for the photos. So we all jumped out and started munching on some appetizers of chicken skewers with peanut sauce, smoked salmon bruschetta, and other yummy treats.

Once we were all full, we headed across the bridge and started with our group photos.

Some we did in a normal fashion. Smiling politely:

I LOVE the ones of you guys in the rear view mirrors! I think the only backdrop we’ll be using besides the ones at the church will be at the gazebo where he proposed :)

Since we are getting married on a yacht we have limited scene options (not that the harbor is a horrible scene!) so we are doing the first look and some pix at our hotel followed by all group shots and more pix at the beach before making our way to the yacht.
