Once we made our grand entrance, the wedding party, my new husband, and I took our seats at table number one.

I was thrilled to find the ballroom setup and loved the way it all came together in the end. The moss balls and lanterns were carefully hung and the cozy lounge furniture was arranged just right.
The tables were dressed and the candles were lit.

Each place setting included a homemade Texas shaped cookie decorated with our monogram, courtesy of my MIL. She baked and packaged over a hundred of them!

We chose to have the main course served buffet style, however, opted to have the soup and salad courses plated.

This arrangement worked well for us, as it kept our guests in their seats as the first course arrived, which was important since it was time for the toasts…
