As you may have already gathered, I’m crafting challenged… in every way possible. When people talk about how they construct projects with just the things they have laying around their house, I am always astonished. I attempted to take on several projects only to get frustrated a few hours (or minutes) later and gave up. Well, lucky for me, Mr. Fro Yo has a lot more patience and skill than I do. I kept trying to come up with activities for him to help with for the wedding, and then it hit me: the wedding map!! So last night, Mr. Fro Yo sat down for about an hour and finished our map!
What do you think?
I still need to go back and include some additional details, but I was so impressed with what he put together! We followed Mrs. Ballet Flat’s tutorial and it worked perfectly. I need to figure out what to print it on and how to include it with our invitations that we don’t have yet. But I knew long ago that I wanted a wedding map and it feels so great to be able to cross that off our checklist. Thanks Mr. Fro Yo! I told him if this whole stock trading thing doesn’t work out, he might just have a career in making maps. He wasn’t amused. 
Did your fiance come through and help with a DIY project?
Looks great! And yes, Mr. Bru pitched in big time with a slew of projects as the wedding approached.
What a great job… My FI’s duties involve stamping and labeling… and even then he makes them too crooked

He did a great job! Mr. FF hasn’t helped with many DIY things yet. I think my “wedding craft corner” intimidates him just a bit.
Looks awesome!!! I followed the same tutorial, and mine came out pretty good. Not as good as yours though, but like they say you are your own worst critic. I couldn’t figure out the bubble, I forget what it’s called. Going to give it another shot at a later date, when I’m not so frustrated!
Your map looks great! Good job, Mr. FroYo! I recruited Mr. DE to help me put the pearls on our wedding cake. I’d apply the icing and he stick the pearl where it needed to go.

I am working on my map (via Mrs. Ballet Flat’s tutorial) right now! Sadly, my FI is in the middle of exams so he hasn’t been able to help, but he has looked it over a few times to make sure that it all makes sense!

Mr. Fro Yo did a great job! my husband helped me through a lot of projects, but he always gave up at the little details (ribbons, bows and stuff like that)!!
@MexicanGirl: Oh yeah, he’s not into the fancy stuff of the map, and actually when I started to try to add things, he got a little defensive of his map, and didn’t think it needed anything extra.
It looks great…I made one using her tutorial as well and it turned out awesome.
I included addresses right on there for the locations so the guests could mapquest them from home beforehand if they need to.

Mr Frenchie is an excellent cutter-outter so we cut all the circle for our table # and other stuff
Way to go Mr. Fro-Yo! I’m also DIY-challenged, so is FI, but I work with computers for a living so this is one task I think - hope! - I’ll be able to conquer.
