Mrs. Frozen Yogurt, Dallas Age and Occupation: 28, Special Projects Coordinator Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Equity Trader Engagement Date: March 19, 2009 Wedding Date: April 2010 Venue: Marie Gabrielle, Dallas About Me: I was born and raised in Texas, and have lived in several of the cities across the state, but I currently reside in Austin. I went to college in Boston and have a special place in my heart for the Northeast. I love reading, shopping, wine, reuniting with college friends that are scattered across the country, reality TV, trying out new recipes, and attempting all the DIY projects that come along with wedding planning. I'm a "bleeding heart, save the world type" and thankfully my job allows me to work on legislation and policy to help out those in need. I met Mr. Frozen Yogurt in a bar, though he doesn't even drink! And now we are planning a modern yet vintage wedding in Dallas while dealing with the trials and tribulations of first time homeownership.

Hang Some Pictures

October 9th, 2009 @ 5:18 pm by Mrs. Frozen Yogurt

Remember the photobooth we’re going to have at the wedding? Well, I kept trying to think of ways to display the pictures at the wedding. We aren’t using the photos as our guestbook, and I didn’t want them scattered all over because I thought they might get lost. So then it hit me, why not use clothespins?

There are some gorgeous clothespins, like these:

But I think we might just go the traditional route with some regular wooden clothespins, and twine, like this (but imagine photobooth pictures instead of Polaroids):

So what do you think? Do you think that will look cute? Do you have any other suggestions for how to hang our photobooth photos?

I think this is a really cute idea :) You could even spray paint them different colors if you wan to spruce them up w/o spending too much time and/or money :)

I think it will look great either way - the simple route with regular clothespins or painted/cloth-covered pins.

I think that is exactly what you should do….just the twine and the photos….will look organic, simple, and beautiful. :)

The plain clothespins & twine looks perfect! Like julesann said: it’s simple & beautiful. Also its more budget friendly and if you covered them, its something that only gals in the hive or other brides would really notice. Most people enjoy the little touches, but they don’t dissect them like we do!

This is a great idea :)

Oh, I heart those gorgeous clothespins! Too bad you couldn’t think of an after-wedding use to justify the purchase. . .

I love clothespins! They are so dang cute - you could always paint them if you really were ambitious but they fun either way. I picked up some from the dollar store, 50 for $1? “yes, please!”

You could make a fun sign to be held up with clothespins too?! Also your twine could be ribbon? Oh, the possibilities!

Great idea - why not paint the clothespins yourself? That way they’re pretty and functional and not too pricey!!

Definitely a great idea. What will the wall behind be? Maybe some fun ikea fabric.

I love that idea. Another could be magnets on a giant magnetic chalkboard?

That’s really cute! And very you. :) I also like how Mrs. Cupcake made a board to display hers–it tied in her colors and was just so cute!
