We arrived at Hout Bay Manor just in time for some bridal party and family photographs. We had intended to do some of these at the Lightning family home, but getting 6 girls ready in time proved impossible, and so I had to leave for our Long Street portraits before everyone was ready for pictures.
It was a bit chaotic as guests had begun to arrive and the officiant was doubting my “stand in the middle of the restaurant” ceremony idea. After a few hellos and a new plan for where the bridal party would stand during the ceremony, we headed outside for our final pre-wedding portraits.

I’m guessing this wasn’t intentional, but I really love that your bridesmaids are all brunette! In their dark dresses it really adds a little drama to those portraits, with you in your blond-and-silver. I love it.
I love the feel of your portraits. It looks like y’all were having such a nice time, that you couldn’t be wrangled in for fully ‘formal’ portraits.
