We had great vantage points for me to snap some pics at the bigger shows at Bridal Market this weekend, so while we gather our pro pics, I thought I’d blog about a show that I was able to catch on my own camera! Kirstie Kelly for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings was last night, and appropriately for Disney… the kids stole the show! Kirstie showcased some adorable flower girl dresses, along with dresses inspired by all the Disney princesses, including their newest princess, Tiana, from the upcoming movie The Princess and the Frog. She did a great job of capturing the essence of the princesses this year. The show opened with various inspirational quotes by Walt Disney, followed by a preview of the upcoming movie:
I was really looking forward to seeing this dress on a model. It didn’t disappoint, and moved beautifully:
This tulle boa accessory was luscious… perhaps a crafty bee could DIY this one?
One thing I noticed and really appreciated was that there were a lot of non-strapless options in the line, something I craved when shopping for my own wedding dress…
The pouf detail at the nape of the neck on this one was great:
The flower girls always made the crowd erupt in cheers and claps. They WORKED the runway!

I’m a sucker for the pewter with ANYTHING combo! Here it is with pink:
This dress below seemed to be allllllmost black, but not quite. Perhaps the darkest grey ever? I really loved the color!
My ultimate fave, below: a dusty rose dress with rosette detailing and empire waist… it would fit into both a black tie wedding or something more rustic and outdoorsy, don’t you think?
And, the finale!
At the end, the little girls all surrounded Kirstie for waves. I wished I could have caught their faces! Mrs. Bee and I were right up at the front of the show.

What a great way to end a LONG day at Market. We started out at 8AM at the Trendspotting show and ended the day with the Kirstie Kelley after party that we ducked out of at 10PM so I could run back to the hotel and blog before retiring and doing it all again today!

Fun! I definitely love the one that was paired with the tulle boa. I like that the dresses have branched out from totally princessy to a more modern look!

As a Disney bride I have always loved Kirstie Kelly’s dresses! These don’t dissapoint!! I love the 4th one!!
OH MY, tracking down that long, rosy bmaids’ dress now! I am also filing “tulle boa” and “teach little girls to sashay with one hand on hip” in the back of my mind.

FYI I have been tryig to order one of these flower girl dresses all week. Listed on their website only 3 stores in my state carry the brand and only one carries flower girl dresses. When I called the store they said that they would not be carrying them anymore and would not order from them. They said they have had nothing but problems. I called the other two stores to see if they could order eventhough they didn’t carry them, they said the same thing.
I touched these dresses at D23 and absolutely LOVED them. I really didn’t expect much, but they’re fabulous and sickly wonderful for the price point!
