Immediately after the ceremony and congrats, we did the usual (usually boring), but necessary group portraits. Let me formally introduce you to my family. 
My mommers, dadders, moi, Mr. Sushi, and my lil’ brother (who really isn’t all that little anymore).

My new, complete family (minus Mr. Sushi’s brother, who couldn’t make it to Hawaii since he was planning his own wedding):
My two, oldest besties. We each live in different states now, but will always be my close (non-biological) family. Mwah! I love how they color coordinated. Hehe.
One of wedding regrets (by fault of no one but my own) is not taking more group shots. By normal wedding standards, I had an extremely tiny wedding (19 peeps). I really wish I would have had our photographer take a quick photo of every individual couple or family. I mean, seriously, it would have only been about 7 extra shots (well… you could figure more than one shot per couple, but you get my drift). Ehh… what can you do now. I did, however, get a group shot of everyone.

I had some regrets about the family portraits as well. I didn’t think they were important when planning with the photographers and we ended up missing some shots!
I didn’t realize how much my family was counting on the group pics.
As miss french fries said, your group shot turned out pretty good.. I like the photos very much, looks like it was a beautiful wedding.
Great photos! I wish we had done an official group shot of everyone, too. There is one photo that was taken of our reception, where you can see almost everyone (except the head table) toasting, which is kinda cool. I think I didn’t think the family photos were all that important, but I wish we had done more.
With so much family at ours, this will take some time. Your pictures are lovely.
I also wish we had done a big group shot! Oh well - yours is great Love Mr. S’s shoes, by the way!
i was an idiot and forgot the list of portraits we wanted, so besides a big group shot, i had NONE with my parents/family

Aww, I love how intimate your wedding was. And that pic of Mr. Sushi and your mom is too cute!
i like that group shot! it’s nice to actually be able to see the everyone’s face!
