In case you haven’t noticed from my previous posts…

I tend to fall hopelessly in love with very, VERY specific items.

I longed for this ring until the day Mr. Parfait placed it on my finger. I’ve been dreaming about this dress since I was thirteen years old. There is a purse that I’ve wanted since high school, and my brother still remembers the day my father almost spent a lot of money to get it for me. I don’t think anyone should spend too much on a purse, but that doesn’t stop me from loving it.

Back to the subject at hand! I saw these ads for Vera Wang’s Princess fragrance a few years ago and totally fell for the thin, sparkly heart necklace on the model. Camilla Belle is beyond pretty, and I love all of the dresses she wears in the perfume ads. I also love that she’s wearing the mysterious necklace in all of the shots, so I can admire it from different angles! Pictures from Vera Wang.

I have no idea how to find it, and even if I did, I doubt I could wear it. My sensitive skin is allergic to basically everything, so I’ve ruled out wearing any type of special wedding jewelry. But if I come across a Parfait-friendly, hypoallergenic version of this beauty by next spring, you can bet you’ll see it framed by the neckline of my wedding dress.

I also have a tendency to covet very.specific.things. My e-ring is one of them, much like yours! I see it and something in my mind just clicks and I think, “That’s it. It’s perfect.”

My wedding day jewelry is going to be my something borrowed, I think — I’m going to borrow my MOH’s beautiful pearl necklace.

I’m willing to bet you could have a jeweler custom-make that for you in appropriate materials fairly easily, given how many angles there are in the pictures.

Hi Miss Parfait!
I actually have this exact necklace - my mom bought it for me at a Vera Wang trunk show serveral years back, and I love it! Maybe try searching for Vera Wang jewerly trunk shows locally? I was also allergic to it, and eventually had to replace the white gold chain for a platnium one, but now can wear it every day.

Have you tried doing an alchemy on Etsy? I bet a seller would be able to make it for you pretty inexpensively, and make it a material you can WEAR.

It’s very pretty, and I know what you mean about getting stuck on a very particular item. Before my engagement shoot, I had in my head that I wanted a very specific shade of pale blue shoe, and I couldn’t find anything close!
