I was at a wedding last weekend and mentioned to a friend that I’d be heading to New York for Bridal Market, and an old friend told me to look out for Hey Lady shoes by his good friends Jessica and Emily Leung. I asked how I would recognize them, just in case I forgot the company name, and he said, “Trust me, you’ll know them when you see them.”
Uhh… okay. I figured I’d never find them, and I left the conversation at that. But when I came upon Hey Lady, he was right: I instantly knew I’d found who I was looking for. But if I hadn’t been seeking them out in the first place, I would have been drawn to their shoe porn anyway.
Jessica and Emily are young and dynamic twins, with a keen eye for amazing shoe style! Jessica was married, and couldn’t for the life of her find shoes that she loved that were not only perfect, but wearable for long periods of time. They experienced an ESP twin moment, and while each of them were pursuing different careers at the time, they dropped it all, designed a line of shoes, and Hey Lady was born. Wow!

Okay, maybe it’s a tie between the blingy pair above, and these below with this edgy flower detailing. A little bit feminine, a little bit edgy. It’s hard to find a good balance between the two, but this pair definitely does it!
There’s an ivory/black pair that matches this tiffany blue pair, below. How incredible would it be to wear the colored pair, and have your BMs wear the coordinating ivory pair (or vice versa)?
Emily boasted that with their peep toe shoes, none show more than two toes, and they ran their shoes through production again and again until they achieved the magic two-toe show. Hilarious!
Jessica noted that this pair below was one of their most comfortable pairs of shoes.
I feel like it’s hard to find a pair of shoes to match lace dresses, so these are great!
One last tidbit I learned was that they said that East Coasters order shorter heeled pairs (2.5 to 3 inch) while West Coasters order more high pairs (3.5 inch). I’m sure it has a lot to do with the fact that New Yorkers walk everywhere! I can’t even tell you how ridiculous it was that I wore 4 inch heels every day to Bridal Market. I am in PAIN. I scheduled an appointment for reflexology today because I am seriously crippled from 3 days of trudging around New York! Maybe I should have sported a pair of Hey Ladys?

I really like the Princess Buttercup. They are so cute and feminine. Alas, with my very wide feet I wouldn’t even be able to fit into them!
Drooool - love these! I’m torn between the At Tiffany’s and the Princess Buttercups. Soooo cute.
I am totally drooling! I am loving the “knotty girl” shoes. If I had not just bought my wedding shoes I would be purchasing those today.
Oh man, this is going to be a dangerous month for my credit card. I’m not even just thinking wedding shoes, those babies would go with me everywhere.

These are the hotness. I’m going to look them up. The older I get the more flats I wear. I don’t want to wear sneakers when I commute 
So pretty, but the milion dollar question is do they come in wide? Wide feet suck.
Hope the reflexology works - I need the “At Tiffanys” shoe. Now. You’ve given me so many things to add to my “I really need this, please, thank-you” list that I’m probably going to drive people crazy by Christmas!
I wore Princess BUTTERCUP as my wedding shoes 2 weeks ago!

The daddy’s girls shoes are to die for. I hope they come out with more colors by the time I’m getting married. I’d love to wear one of these styles in crimson.
I wanted a pair of these for my wedding SO BADLY! But, alas I didn’t have the money when it came down to buying them :-/
In the end, I think it was for the best, my yellow shoes went really well!
them shoes are AWESOME, but my wallet and i are rather upset at you right now.

I have been lusting after those shoes for like almost a year! I def might commit to them come wedding time!
How’s the quality like? They somehow don’t look very well-made (at least from the various pix I’ve seen). Anyone own a pair?

I have wide feet too. Normally when I try on strappy shoes, my feet look like sausages coming out of the casing, and that’s when I can force my feet into the shoes to begin with.
I was deciding between Straptease and Pucker Up. Because many of their shoes are not leather, there isn’t as much stretch to them (my mom has the same wide feet problem so she always gets leather shoes and then stuffs them with balled up socks to stretch them out before she wears them).
The Straptease seemed a little too tight across the widest part of my foot, so I went with Pucker Up. They were comfy and didn’t give me foot muffin top, but at the very end of the night when I finally took my shoes off, there were red marks on both feet (on the top of each foot). They didn’t hurt, but I’ve had the same thing happen when I wear flip flops too.
mrspaetz, I thought the shoes were very well made. To be fair, I only tried on two different styles, but both were comfortable, sturdy, and did not seem like the cheapie shoes that I’ve tried on at many other places.
The one tiny quality issue I noticed was that although I put the buckle on the same hole on both shoes, one seemed slightly looser, just a smidge. To be fair, I know that one foot is bigger than the other so that could have been the problem. I meant to line up the straps/holes to see if it was me or the shoe but totally forgot after the wedding.
Man, do I have to pick one pair? I love the ivory and black ones from the first photo. But there are some dusty pink satin ones in there that caught my eye, too!
So friggin cute! I want me a pair of the At Tiffany’s!!!
OMG!! I die. No, I’m dead. and gone to Heaven. Those shoes are fab!
Love the At Tiffany’s and Daddy’s Girl. I seriously need to get myself some Hey Lady shoes!
