Country Courthouse Coupling: Portraiture

After slipping on my beautiful new ring, we headed inside to snap some portraits. Shawna and Kory had arrived at the courthouse early and scouted out a bunch of great photo opportunities. We laughed, joked, posed, and followed their lead, trying to take full advantage of the amazing turn-of-the-century architecture and style found throughout the courthouse.

This next photo is one of my faves (even though we’re obviously smiling for the other photographer).

This one below is awesome too: My face is a little lame, but Mr. Mary Jane looks bad-ass!

I totally wanted to go ’Titanic’ with this jury-room shot.

Time flew by as they snapped and snapped, and we smooched and giggled. And then our parents showed up. And the clerk of court who was to marry us. Was it really 4:30 already? Go time!!

Beautiful photos!

At our day-after shot a couple of weeks ago, our photog kept asking me to do “cute feet” so she could get a pretty shot of my shoes and the bottom of my dress. I wish I had seen your first photo, because THOSE are cute feet!
