E-Shoot: The Man’s Outfit

In my last e-shoot post, I revealed the two outfits I was considering for our upcoming engagement shoot. After much deliberation, I decided to go with the red DVF!

Did your SO pick his own engagement/wedding attire, or did you “advise”?

My mister did pick out his own outfit and I then picked something out to coordinate.

I think as long as you two are coordinating your pictures will turn out awesome.

Can’t wait to see your pics, I love the dressier e-pic sessions.

Great choices!! I love a guy in a suit. I let him pick his own outfit, which I think was good because I think both of our outfit choices are a total reflection of us. Me in a dress and heels and him in jeans and flip flops.

Advise may be the nicer way to put it…
He has a great style, but he wasn’t too invested in the “what to wear” question and requested that I just tell him what to wear. A girl doesn’t need to be asked twice.

I’m so glad you chose that dress–it’s beautiful! Just my opinion, but maybe the suit is too fancy for an E-shoot? I dunno, I guess it depends on Mr. Hamster’s style and the feel you’re going for. I pretty much picked out the Dude’s outfit for him for our E-shoot, but he’s getting a lot more stylish these days!

@Mrs. Mouse: you’re right - I talked to the mans and the suit was too “work-y” for him (he often has to wear a suit to work). So we’re still going for something a little more formal, but not the full-on suit! He saw a black corduroy blazer he liked, so he might go with that

Second the blazer idea! With dark jeans and the right shoes it would be dressy, but not formal.

My mister isn’t exactly fashion conscious, but he’s willing to wear whatever I suggest.

Ah, Miss Hamster, so beautiful! When I got married, my hubby & I chose his tux together. When he picked it up, I asked him if he tried it on. He trusted the tailor, so he didn’t. When I walked down the aisle, I discovered him wearing the wrong suit! Not the most flattering on him, and it bothered me the whole day. Of course, I didn’t say anything until the wedding was over. So, a word to the wise!
