Like others that have gone before me, I was sooooo ready for a change after the wedding. So ready that I made a hair appointment for the following Friday. Here’s the before (taken about a month ago at my final shower with my sister—can you see the resemblance?): 
My hair has been about the same length and style for around 3 years, until now:
Bangs! I haven’t had them since I was about ten :). I’m still getting used to the feeling of hair on my forehead, but I really love them!
Did you get a PWC? How soon after the wedding did you make your appointment?

nice bangs! i’m definitely considering a PWC, but it would probably be a chop, no bangs… i thought they might work once and gave it a try… definitely a fail!
I’m planning on a big PWC - to donate to Locks of Love! By the time next summer rolls around, I should have about a foot of hair to cut off after the wedding - and I know I’ll be ready for a change from long hair!
Oh wow, I really like them! I have been wanting to get long bangs for a while now, but haven’t done it yet. Someday…

Love the bangs!!! I recently went in to my stylist and requested bangs, and she cut mine very similarly to yours — I love them, but I might end up growing them out. Yours are adorable!
My hair has gotten so long! My husband loves it long, but is very supportive. I wanted a PWC, also, but he says- “you spent all of that time growing it out, why not enjoy it longer”?
He’s right and I’m loving it. I’m thinking about growing it out until the summer then give myself a good chop. Maybe I can shed a few lbs. by then too.

i got the sideswept bangs a few years ago and i can’t go back. i love them so though i did get straight bangs like peep this year. i like them but the upkeep is killer.

The bangs look great on you! I used to have them at school - I’d try and grow them out as far as I could before my mum used to drag me to a hairdresser.

I love bangs! I had them all throughout high school and they looked so, so cute… then I realized that my forehead was too small for them and grew them out so I looked like a normal human.

The bangs look great. Do you feel like a new you? I don’t think I’ll cut my hair after but that’s because I have curly hair and I cant cut it too short.

I finally got my hair cut last Thursday, almost 2 weeks after the wedding. I got about 6 inches cut off, and it feels so great to have all that weight off my shoulders…literally!
Thanks everyone! I’m finally getting used to the bangs and really like them. I think they are here to stay for a while!

**stocking, not stalking, although I did do some dress stalking too :)**
I just cut 4.5 inches off AND bangs. not quite sure how I feel about it, yet!
