About Miss Chick

Shooz

November 3rd, 2009 @ 3:04 pm by Miss Chick

When I saw Mrs. Penguin’s post on Hey Lady, I was in love!

But after seeing the hefty price tags, I quickly convinced myself that they were not for me. Months later, I find myself referring to them and drooling over their beautiful shoes again! So, I’ve decided even if I can’t afford them, I sure can still blog about them!

Here are my three faves:

These would go perfectly with our gray theme!

I also like the black and white version of this shoe.

Now on to find more budget friendly versions of these beauties.

Did you have a hard time finding affordable wedding shoes?

I don’t have the dress yet (although it’s arriving on Thursday) but I already have the shoes! Or at least one pair of shoes that might be the one. Who knows if I will find something I like better before June… but I couldn’t resist - my pretty, not too high, pink satin sandals from Sam and Libby were less than $30 in the DSW clearance section!

I am wondering if you couldn’t DIY your own princess buttercup. hummm… I might have to do some playing tonight with some ribbon and some serious glue…

I love the 2nd and 3rd ones! I haven’t started shopping for shoes yet, and I’m not sure if I’m looking forward to it (yay!) or dreading it (too many options).

At Tiffanys was a favorite of mine. Luckily I saw them after I’d already purchased my wedding boots!

I love the princess buttercup shoes (and also love that it’s named after a character in The Princess Bride!).

So glad I didn’t know about these before my wedding of I might’ve gotten a case of the “must-haves.”

I went through the same set of emotions you describe and ultimately bought the Tiffany’s Hey Lady shoes. After trying on so many pairs of uncomfortable heels, I knew I needed a pair I could enjoy wearing on the big day. One bride said they were like walking on clouds.I expect them to arrive this week. I can let you know if they are worth it or not…I’m optimistic.

If you “fan” them on Facebook you get 10% off and if you are a military bride, you can get 15% off.

I bought a pair of shoes that were just under $100. They’re blue. They have a sparkly shoe clip on it… and I hate them! They totally hurt my feet & don’t go with the style of wedding I’m having. Sigh.

Back to the drawing board for me! Thanks for the inspiration though :)

I’m doing this right now, and I too was saddened by their price tag. Hey Lady doesn’t make flats either, but what they do make is lovely.

I love those At Tiffany’s. And if I were able to be married in heels, I would scrape up the money SOMEHOW to buy them.
