Miss Frozen Yogurt, Dallas Age and Occupation: 28, Special Projects Coordinator Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Equity Trader Engagement Date: March 19, 2009 Wedding Date: April 2010 Venue: Marie Gabrielle, Dallas About Me: I was born and raised in Texas, and have lived in several of the cities across the state, but I currently reside in Austin. I went to college in Boston and have a special place in my heart for the Northeast. I love reading, shopping, wine, reuniting with college friends that are scattered across the country, reality TV, trying out new recipes, and attempting all the DIY projects that come along with wedding planning. I'm a "bleeding heart, save the world type" and thankfully my job allows me to work on legislation and policy to help out those in need. I met Mr. Frozen Yogurt in a bar, though he doesn't even drink! And now we are planning a modern yet vintage wedding in Dallas while dealing with the trials and tribulations of first time homeownership.

A Little Bling for Your Shoes

November 4th, 2009 @ 3:19 pm by Miss Frozen Yogurt

Okay, so I already have my shoes squared away, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love looking at shoes and all the little shoe accessories. Shoe accessories? Yep, I found the sweetest shoe clips on Etsy. B Poetic makes these amazing clips to dress up any shoe, and they are super affordable.

Take a look:

And, if you want something with a little more color:

Or, if you prefer one big, white blossom:

There are so many inexpensive shoes that could really be dressed up with a shoe clip. One of my favorite spots to look for shoes is Endless. Who knows, maybe I’ll need to get a pair for a shower or some other wedding related event.

What are some other ways to dress up inexpensive shoes?

@Mrs. Mouse: me too! I can see it’s from nine west, but it doesn’t look like a current style…

Those shoes in the first photo are amazing — and I love your idea of “shower shoes” (and not those icky rubber flip flops used in college dorms).

That etsy shop owner is an old friend of mine. She’s super sweet and anything you order from her you will undeniably be happy with! :)

I LOVE these shoe clips. I actually wrote about them a while back on my blog and considered getting them but later went with a lovely pair of Ivory Nina Electras I bought new from WeddingBee Classifieds!

I used some white feathers and vintage, rhinestone-laden clip on earrings on my shoes… super cheap!! I’ll go post pics in my bio - they looked so good!
