When I got the email from Pengy on an otherwise nondescript Monday night, I think I flapped my arms so quickly in my excitement that I may have actually buzzed. Could it be? Was it me? Am I really a bee? Will Mr. Spaniel need to pinch me again?

The Mister and I met back in January 2006, and after a whirlwind! three-year romance, we decided to make it official and announce our intentions (which were to get married, sillies!).

Somehow, I did not discover the ’bee until months later, but I hope to make up for lost time by sharing the trials, tribulations, and (sometimes wildly unexpected) successes that come with blending three very distinct religious, ethnic and cultural traditions into one big night, while still leaving a little bit of room for our own personalities and interests!

So, why did I pick Miss Spaniel?

The Spaniels: Miss Spaniel, Chelsea, Mr. Spaniel

Because as much as we all love Chelsea, the girl just cannot write!

Yay! I can’t wait to follow your planning- we’ve definitely poked around Calamigos and thought maybe! just maybe! we’d get married there. There is the whole issue of getting engaged first though… hehe
