So you know how we got engaged, but you don’t know when we had our first kiss. Listen up ladies, here it begins.
Mr. Fro Yo and I met over Memorial day weekend on a Friday night at a bar. Saturday I was supposed to go out on a date with someone else, but after my short interaction with Mr. Fro Yo, I knew that I was WAY more interested in where that was going then where the other date was potentially going. So I did a mean thing… I canceled on the other guy… at like 4 PM the night of our date. I know, I know. I didn’t know what to say, and I had no idea if I was even going to see Mr. Fro Yo again (although he did get my number), but I thought if I felt that interested after a couple hours of playing pool, it was worth it try.
So, the next night we did meet up again––at the same bar. We played some more pool, and with the same group of friends. Only this time, we were both more open about our interest in each other. After closing time, we decided to keep the party going and watch a movie together. For some reason we picked the 40 Year-Old Virgin.
And we watched the ENTIRE movie before he even held my hand or anything. If we’re keeping track of time here, we left the bar at 2, watched an entire movie, and at that point it was 4AM. I was growing increasingly tired and insecure. And then, finally! He asked me if it might be OK if he kissed me, and then he did. Sparks flew, and I was so happy. The wait was all worth it.

Our first date was to see Anchorman, comedies are great first movie choices 
And, I acutally kissed my husband the first night I met him, ahhh for crazy college nights!
Is it terrible that I don’t remember? I know it was on our second date, but the details are completely gone. It was so long ago! Four years and two careers ;).
We, too, met at a bar. And our first kiss was… in the bathroom line at the bar. Hey, when I see something I want, I go for it
Awwww! It was our… maybe third date? I *think* it was the same night we had gone to see a lecture about peace in Palestine at a (semi) local college and he kissed me as he was leaving to go home. I had walked him down the stairs so I could um, check my mail and he just went for it! Smart boy.
I had to tell Mr. Taffy to kiss me! It was the end of our second date.
That is such a cute story!! Shy guys make the best husbands.
Aww, 40-Year-Old Virgin was one of the first movies we saw together too! (Not THE first, but close!) I met my fiance on the first day of 10th grade in Latin class. (Yes, you read that right - Latin.) We were both SUPER shy, but after a year and a half of mutual but secret liking, he asked me out. He held my hand two months later (again, you read that right; I told you we were shy), and another month after that, we kissed! I don’t really remember it, but he does. The first time he tried to kiss my cheek, he missed and kissed my ear. *sigh* I love him.
Aw, so cute. Mr. MB had to drink a beer to work up the nerve. It was so obvious that he was working up the courage.
I’ve never seen anyone do a “first kiss” post before! I’m totally stealing.. I mean.. borrowing this idea! I love it! So cute!
Very cute! Mr. FF and I met in a bar, too. Our first kiss was in his mother’s living room (and, needless to say, she wasn’t home).
Cute! Our first kiss was so awkward- it was outside my apartment complex and all his friends were sitting in the car waiting for him to get back in. He kissed me and I said “I can’t do this”. Then I spent the next hour composing an email about how I couldn’t kiss him in front of his friends, not that I couldn’t kiss him. haha.
Needless to say he got over it! : )

We met after my sister posted an ad of my on craigslist. Our first date was dinner and a movie…no kiss. Second date was dinner and theatre…no kiss or even hand hold! Third date was dinner at my place and then we stayed up all night watching a movie and talking. It finally got so late, I walked him to the door and we kissed. Thanks to me, because I ever so slightly leaned in a bit. It was wonderful and I pretty much knew he was the One at that point.
Awe that’s a super cute story! My friends were trying to get us both to kiss eachother, so my roomate made up some junk about kissing at midnight on St. Patrick’s day for goodluck. So, we did!
We saw SuperBad for our first movie on our first official date.
Our first kiss was actually an accident on my part!
We had started dating a few days before our final exams. I walked him to his history final, and when we got there we hugged goodbye. We started pulling away from the hug and, being only a few months out of my last relationship and still used to “couples” things, I automatically tilted my head and leaned in for the kiss that I was expecting to come next! Luckily he wasn’t too surprised and went along with it.
Ha! Ours was after seeing Team America. And after talking for about six hours after the movie!
Our first kiss was awkward and unpleasant lol! We were watching Larry the Cable Guy and for some reason, he felt that was the “right” time. Really? During a fart joke, nonetheless!
