As soon as the mister “put a ring on it”, I already knew who we had to get as our photographer. Her name is Lori Barbely and she’s Le Bomb. I had worked with her a few times when I was modeling, and she was actually one of the photographers at our “ungagement” shoot.

I’ve met a lot of photographers, and I’ve seen a whole lot of different shooting styles. The biggest piece of advice I can give to you about hiring a photographer is to always meet them before you book them, no matter how great their work is. I’ve met quite a few sleazy photographers with amazing portfolios. Remember- good pictures don’t always equal a good person. Whoever you choose to hire has to follow you around (read: be with you) for your entire wedding day. If your personalities don’t mesh, this could spell disaster quite quickly.

That’s one of the many things I love about Lori—besides her amazing photography—she’s so non-invasive and shooting with her is so comfortable. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that she’s one of those people you meet and you instantly know she could totally be one of your friends. She has the best personality and sense of humor. Eee! I’m so excited! Anyway, before my head explodes, here’s some of her work!
