It’s kind of ironic to be without words in the blogging world, but that is truly what I experienced this morning when I checked my email (and subsequently read and re-read in disbelief)!

I am beyond honored and excited to bee a new addition to the hive – I only hope that you all will enjoy my wedding planning journey as much as I have!

I chose to be Miss Cheeseburger for obvious reasons – because cheeseburgers are plain delicious, and my guilty pleasure (one that I indulge in far too often)! It really is as simple as that!

So about us… we’re two twenty-something, Pennsylvania transplants, living in the wild world of medical school (sarcasm – it really isn’t at all wild) in Baltimore. Still unsure of exactly what to be when we grow up, we are figuring it out together – one step at a time.

Mr. Burger and I are planning a traditional Catholic wedding and hotel reception with some non-traditional twists and lots of DIY along the way. We are having a pseudo destination wedding at our favorite place on earth (really), our alma mater – Penn State! We love our families and friends deeply, and we plan to make our wedding day as much about our love for them as our love for each other.

Again, the honor is all mine to be among such an amazing group of ladies (and gents!) in the hive – I cannot wait to start sharing the details of our big day!
