Like several stylish bees before me, I am wearing colorful shoes for our wedding. Remember Mrs Joey’s beautiful yellow ones? I pretty much died when she posted about them and decided right then that I had to have yellow shoes for our wedding.

I’ll admit, I haven’t quite stumbled upon the perfect pair yet (not that I haven’t looked) but I’m kind of holding out until spring, when yellow is a more common color for shoes.

I did somehow (and believe me, given my severely limited computer and internet knowledge, the italics are very necessary for that ’somehow’) manage to make an inspiration board of what I might be looking for.

So pretty, right? I may end up going with a softer yellow, but right now, my favorite are the J.Crew ones (surprise, surprise). I’ll have to wait and see what my favorite prepsters come out with this spring. And I love the idea that if it rains, I’ll be able to wear bright yellow rain boots!

Oooh good post! I’ve also been looking for cute yellow shoes, and it’s not easy! The J. Crew ones are a favorite of mine too - I’ve found a couple pairs on eBay, but they’re not cheap! I think you’ve got the right idea waiting for spring.

Yea for colorful shoes! Mine are green. Right now I have 3 pairs and can’t decide until my first fitting. 1Thank goodness for Endless’s free 365 day returns

I love the ones on the bottom right with the big bow. They remind me of the shoes that I wore to my “engagement party”.

LOVE the yellow shoes… I’m thinking of doing Navy since our colors are Navy & Yellow…. but maybe I should consider yellow too! Such pretty shoes!

Actually, I was at Payless this week and saw a pair of pretty cute yellow heels (with ankle straps), so if anyone is looking right now, you might want to check your local store.

I’m actually leaning towards yellow or green flats, myself, and I’m hoping to convince my bridesmaids (and mom and FMIL) that yellow shoes would be awesome with their navy dresses. I’m gathering photographic evidence to persaude them. ^_^

I love it! My Mom thinks I’m crazy because I want to wear blue shoes.

a) It will be my something blue,+ but most importantly b) They’ll match my wedding colors (UCLA Blue and Lime Green) AND sport some Bruin pride. (I know, I’m a nerd.)

I am in a desperate search for PREPPY yellow shoes for my wedding!! There are a pair from jcrew that I LOVE (were carrying a polka dot theme too!!) but the heel is a litte too high for our grasss cermony and not to mention they are $250!

You’re my hero! When I got engaged and we chose our wedding colours (yellow and white) I was dead set on getting yellow shoes. Unfortunately it’s not a common shoe colour over here so it looks like I’ll be going with white - although I’m still holding out for dyables!

I’ve been having a heck of a hard time finding yellow shoes as well and I’m also holding out for spring in the hopes that more options will begin to pop up. I do like the Nina dyables but was hoping to find something a bit more affordable. Those j. crew polka dot ones are adorable as well! Too bad about the $250 price tag!
