Mrs. Frozen Yogurt, Dallas Age and Occupation: 28, Special Projects Coordinator Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Equity Trader Engagement Date: March 19, 2009 Wedding Date: April 2010 Venue: Marie Gabrielle, Dallas About Me: I was born and raised in Texas, and have lived in several of the cities across the state, but I currently reside in Austin. I went to college in Boston and have a special place in my heart for the Northeast. I love reading, shopping, wine, reuniting with college friends that are scattered across the country, reality TV, trying out new recipes, and attempting all the DIY projects that come along with wedding planning. I'm a "bleeding heart, save the world type" and thankfully my job allows me to work on legislation and policy to help out those in need. I met Mr. Frozen Yogurt in a bar, though he doesn't even drink! And now we are planning a modern yet vintage wedding in Dallas while dealing with the trials and tribulations of first time homeownership.
About Mrs. Frozen Yogurt

Ban.do, My Savior

November 19th, 2009 @ 11:33 am by Mrs. Frozen Yogurt

I’m still having a hard time making up my mind about the type of headpiece I want to wear. No, not the veil, the hair flower vs. the headband. I was partially going to make my decision based on budget. Which meant that the hair flower was going to win, because I couldn’t find a headband I loved for under $100. And $100 for a headband just can’t happen in this Fro Yo’s budget.

Well, apparently the bridal gods heard me because ban.do created an entire new line called heart dedicated to brides like me on a budget. None of the pieces in this collection are over $50. So, are you ready to see what they have?

Ban.do, My Savior : wedding accessories 1 1

Ban.do, My Savior : wedding accessories Headband2 headband2

Ban.do, My Savior : wedding accessories 3 3

Now, I’m not bold enough to rock the headband like these ladies are, I’ll just wear it prim and proper like Blair Waldorf would.

Which one is your favorite?

They’re all cool, but I think I like the middle one the best. :)

I like them all — but I think the simplicity of the 2nd one. :)

They’re all pretty funky & cool but my favorite is the middle one. The other two don’t seem very bridal to me.

So cute! I like the second one the best! I’m jealous, I have a huge forehead and headbands only make it look bigger. I will be donning a hair flower for my big day!

I can’t believe they’re so expensive though. Sheesh!

Oh, lovely! I like them either way, Blair Waldorf-style or across the forehead like this ladies are rocking them. I like that with these you could wear them both ways!

I agree with a lot of the other ladies, I really like the second one! It looks so soft and bridal! You could even sew/glue some pearls or crystals on it if you wanted to make it pop a little more for cheap.

I like all of them, honestly, but the headbands weren’t the first thing I noticed. They have to be fake, but her eyelashes are OUTRAGEOUS! Want some of those SO bad.
