I love lists.
I check them twice, re-organize them, and do a little Hammy “High 5!” when I cross things off. Itineraries? Love ’em . I like to know exactly where I’m going and when I’m going to be there. Checklists and worksheets? Up there with cookies (Okay, maybe not, but what really *is* up there with cookies?). So when it came time for my final dress search I wanted it to be just as logical and organized. The result?
The Hammy Dress Worksheet
(*Okay, so I don’t really want people to cry when they see me walk down the aisle, but I would be really touched if they did!)
Each member of my dress-judging committee received this worksheet and evaluated potential dresses based on both shazam-ness and tear-jerking strength. I even drew a basic silhouette of a trumpet gown to provide an area to visually capture dress detail, should the judge desire.
After recovering from roll-on-the-floor laughter induced by the ludicrousness of this worksheet, my friends actually filled it out! What started as a crazy little joke for myself actually turned out to be quite useful! Huzzah!
