… for our wedding photos. Although I have yet to reveal our photographer to you guys yet (I will soon, I promise), I am happy to share some of my inspiration photos that I plan on showing to our photographer at our next meeting.

I seem to be constantly drawn in to photos that use sunlight as a way of creating a mood in the picture. Almost all of these present the couple in front of the light, suggesting an ethereal, dreamy quality that I adore.

I particularly love this pose (note to self, show to photographer!).

These are beautiful! I was all about the sun too. If you are set on this, get ready to have your wedding day schedule determined by the sunset and photographers, because this kind of light only happens for a short window of time!

Love, love this. I second Kitten about scheduling around this type of light. It couldn’t have happened for us, except early on in the day (like during our first look). After that, the light got very, very flat due to overcast skies and there was no sunset because of a storm. The only relief we got was when the harvest moon finally showed it’s face just before our photographer was off-duty for the night. Yay!

Have a back-up. All of my after the ceremony outdoor shots were wipped out by rain.

I love the shoe shot… after telling our amazing photographer that before our engagement shoot, she made sure she got some cute shots of our shoes for our e-pics AND during the wedding.
