Weddingbee Blog

Yesterday started out like any other day. I got to work at 7:30, had some coffee, and got the office up and running. And just like any other typical weekday, it got progressively bad. Demands were being made, I got stuck answering phones for hours (we let our receptionist go back in January and we now all have to take turns), and my normally chipper self was officially in a bad mood. I hate being in a bad mood and it really doesn’t happen very often, but today was one of those exceptions. After lunch, I got back to work and was counting the minutes, until that fateful moment, 2:36 pm to be exact, I got the email… I was officially a bee! Insert happy face here…

For the last few months, Weddingbee has been my obsession. I randomly found the site one day when I Googled my wedding dress style to try to see it on different people, and Miss Swan had the same dress.

Miss Swan? What was this world of future brides and goofy names that I stumbled upon? I was immediately intrigued! I went to her oldest post and for hours I followed her through her journey of planning a wedding from beginning to end. It was awesome. And magical. And there were more bees! My eyes were opened to a whole new world of brides-to-be planning their weddings right along side of me.

Since then, I’ve been a faithful Weddingbee stalker reader and I check back daily to see what the hive has been up to. I think Mr. Nachos is the only person that has truly seen my devotion to Weddingbee, but I know I’m not alone after seeing how many wonderful women are in the same boat I am. I’m so excited to officially be a bee and share all of my endeavors, projects and plans with the hive. To my new wedding planning family, thanks for having me!
