These ladies have agreed to put on pink party dresses and not make fun of me for being the laziest bride in the universe.

Okay, maybe they haven’t agreed to that last part.

You’ve met Sweet Potato (left), the giver of crazy generous gifts. But my other Best Woman? My big sis, SistahChips (right):

Also in my wedding party? My wonderful friend K. We’ve racked up a whole lotta years on the friendship timeline, having met in the sixth grade!

And my funny, adventurous college pal S.

S and I met during our first scary day as undergrads. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see each other often—she lives in the Galapagos Islands! I know, right? Who lives in the Galapagos Islands?? This girl does. Love her.

When it came time to ask these wonderful women to be part of my BSD© (ahem, Big Special Day), I got straight to work.

And you thought I wasn’t crafty? I broke out the scissors and the Scotch tape and spent minutes pouring through my newly acquired stack of wedding magazines to find the bestest, bustiest, sparkliest, moodiest models for my gals. Text says: This could be you! Will you be in my wedding party?

Surprisingly, they all said yes. Can you imagine?

I am honored to have them all standing with us come June!
