Mrs. Cola, Mountain View, CA Age and Occupation: 27, Product Communications and Promotions Fiance's Age and Occupation: 28, Managing Partner and Senior Designer Engagement Date: March 5, 2009 Wedding Date: June 2010 Venue: The Mountain Terrace, Woodside, CA About Me: I’m a Washington State native, enjoying life in Silicon Valley California with my fiancé, our three kitties and one leopard gecko. I like reading wedding blogs, Photoshopping wedding design mock ups, making lists, and planning, planning, planning! I’m a bit of an anomaly, on one side I’m a very girlie girl, I collect shoes, I lay out my outfits 4-6 weeks in advance, and I’d never leave the house without my hair curled and makeup on. But on the other side, I’m a total tomboy, I love to go camping and hiking, play drinking games (hey, I’m Irish!) and most of my closest friends are guys. My fiancé and I are planning a DIY-focused wedding with a balance between easygoing (what he wants) and chic and stylish (what I want), and are tying it all together with elements in lavender, sage, butter cream and chocolate.
About Mrs. Cola

Wanna guess what the easiest purchase has been this entire wedding planning process? Mr. Cola’s outfit for our after party! Seriously, nothing could have been easier. I, of course, will be wearing something much cuter, along the lines of a white sundress (which I’ll share with you once I find The One). But for him, it was easy, fo-sheezy (uh, yeah, his words, not mine).

So, wanna see?

One Of The Easiest Wedding Purchases: Mr. Cola's After Party Outfit :  wedding menswear Tuxshi  {Source}

Heehee! I love it! It’s so him, since he’s such a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. And since he and the guys will be wearing grey tuxes, it’s perfect. Even more perfect, it was only $7.99 on Amazon.com.

Did you have any super easy wedding purchases? And if you’re having one, what is YOUR guy wearing to your after party?

Hahaha! Awesome, Mr. Cola! It’s a little bit formal…a little bit casual…best of both worlds!

when is the after party? that night? I would have been way too tired for another party after my wedding.

Oh my goodness! I have to hide this post from my FI. :)

He has been threatening me with wearing one of these to the reception.. only his MUST have the sleeves taken off (trust me, his words, not mine).

He also wants his Best Man to have a patch like Owen Wilson wore in You, Me, & Dupree… I worry about our wedding sometimes.

Haha…my friends did the same thing for their receptions for they’re close guy friends! So my Fi has one! It was fun and we had great pictures from it!

That’s too funny! I’m not sure we will be having an after party, but we could definitely spice it up with funny outfits.

Perfect. I was googling all day for t shirt and groom. This is what I can see a friend of mine wearing down the aisle. Although he’d probably like the back of it to say something really sarcastic too…

hehe too funny! Actually, at our wedding, DH and all of his GM brought these to the reception (they were part of their GM gifts) and changed into them after the usual photos were done. Guests got a kick out of it and all the guys were SO thankful they didnt have to stay in their dress shirts all night!

I should get one of those for Mr. KM. He loves bow ties but hates how constricting they are!

that is so funny! Mr. P’s groomsman has one of those and he wears it to every formal even, The fist thing I told him was that he was actually going to wear a tie to our wedding :P, we are planning on making T-shirts for the bachelor party that look something like that thought and all of them loved the idea
