When I'm not drooling over wedding blogs, I'm attending grad school, out being a foodie, or attempting to "walk" our cat at the park. Two things guaranteed to excite me are wedding cakes and breaking out my suitcase to travel. Hometown Love: Chemistry

Hometown Love: Chemistry : wedding pictures pro pics recap Rad0584

It was a few short hours before our ceremony, and we were wandering through the halls where had we passed notes and held hands as high school sweethearts. It had been at least 9 years since we’d been to the school, and the trip down memory lane felt a little out-of-body to me. After taking a few photos at our school library, we headed to a room that dripped with “us” memories; the chemistry room. Mr. Sunbeam and I had two classes together, math and chemistry, but it wasn’t until the end of that year that we really took notice of each other.

I have a vivid memory of turning around in class to flirt with Mr. Sunbeam. Those were the days when milk pens were the thing to have, and I had spent the year tattooing my hands with notes and doodles while flickering in and out of paying attention to the teacher. Naturally, one day I turned around in our chem class to tattoo Mr. Sunbeam’s hand at a weak attempt to flirt. Of course, the teacher took notice and called me out in the middle of class. Oh, memories.

One of our friends, and talented photographer, told me to pass Mr. Sunbeam a note. It was such a cute idea, and resulted in one of our favorite photos.

(a favorite!)

Our photographer also captured this funny photo set of the men. I wish we would have done something individually with the girls, as well! I didn’t even realize either of these photo sets were being taken of the boys. Make sure you get portraits of both parties!

LOVE the set with the men! I have a similar set with the ladies, but because my hubby was in charge of the men’s photos, we’re missing quite a few of them. Bummer, I loved the way they all looked in their tuxes, but such is life. Can’t wait to see what almost got you kicked out of school…
