I know I can’t be the only one who’s done it. Obsessively and repeatedly searched the web for photos of other weddings at your wedding venue. I do it at least a couple times a month. And I even signed up for Google Alerts, so I’ll get an email any time Google crawls a site with our venue, The Mountain Terrace, cited. It’s so fun to look at ANY wedding photos, and even better to look at ones from your venue. I’m collecting ideas for our own photo ops, as well as falling in love with our location all over again!

Have you, or will you be stalking the web for pictures of other weddings at your venue?
… you know, I never thought to do this! I just searched for a venue that I heard was really beautiful and it turns out that it definitely isn’t. Thanks for knocking that out of the game for me! Glad I didn’t waste my time!
I can’t do this since our venue is a private house

Yeah, somehow I hadn’t thought of doing that… {5 minutes later} I’m back! Great idea, now I have so many photos to look through! Also I’m so jealous of the swing at your venue - those will be some great photos! (Plus, your venue is just gorgeous in general… those trees!)
Yeah I searched for my venue too online. I have found a lot of ideas thanks to my search. Also during my search I found the websites of couples who are either getting married or have had their wedding at my venue. This has actually helped me figure out distances, directions, and information for my guests.
I’d stalk that if I were you too!
I don’t venue stalk because it’s my parents’ house. There’s nothing for me to stalk. :p
I have done that, but not in a while. Now I’m definitely stealing your idea and signing up for Google Alerts!!!!

I was the opposite–afraid to venue stalk because I didn’t want to see a wedding there that I thought would be better than ours! I tried to avoid wedding envy as much as possible!
Your venue is beautiful! I do the same thing with my venue to get ideas on how to decorate it and for must-take photos.
I’ve googled my venue (found the owners’ son’s wedding photos!) but never thought to set an alert - good idea!!

Eco-Friendly palace on the Mississippi River…mmmm.
I try to, but I can’t find too many wedding pics from my venue! I do peek in to the place every time I walk by though.
