If you have 4 minutes of your life to waste that you’re OK with never getting back, this is the weirdest video that I was introduced to and found myself quoting on a regular basis a few years ago…
Now that you’re sufficiently weirded out but find yourself wanting to call someone “betch”, here’s my dilemma – I’m trying to figure out what kind of shoes to wear with my wedding dress. Anyone that knows me knows that I don’t wear heels over 3 inches pretty much ever. Not because I don’t like them; I actually love looking at pretty pairs of high heels as much as the next girl, but I just can’t walk in them and I’ve reluctantly accepted that fact.
So my dilemma is… do I look for a pair of 2-3 inch heels and pray that I find a comfy yet stylish pair? The problem is that shorter heels can sometimes look like little girl shoes and typically have that not-so-pretty thicker heel. Or, do I go the cute white flip-flop route?** (See my issue with flip-flops, below.) Ballet flats?
On one of the bridal message boards, someone suggested ballroom dancing heels. The first image that came to mind was not pretty – a practical nude colored shoe with a strap around the ankle and a rounded toe. Then I looked further and found out that there are actually some cute ballroom dancing shoes out there…

DSW has some cute bridal shoes that I’ll probably be trying on this weekend…

Then there’s always the comfy Isotoner wedding ballet flat slippers that aren’t the cutest, but I’d be SUPER comfy, which I’m all about (although even if no one sees them, it might bother me knowing that I was wearing slippers with my wedding dress)…

**Another option is the flip-flop, which Mr. Nachos will also be wearing. The only problem is that I have REALLY narrow feet and I’ve never in my life found a flip-flop that actually hugs my foot, so I end up with all the pressure between my toes, and inevitably, a big painful blister. I did a little research though, and found out that Cole Haan makes dress shoes and flip-flops with Nike Air technology, and they have a store in the mall I’m going to this weekend. I can’t wait to try these on (although they all come with a pretty hefty price tag)…

I wouldn’t mind going the ballet flat route, but I have yet to find cute ones for sale. I did find a pic on Google of some, but it was a personal picture and I would have no way of knowing where she got these cuties unless I email her, and I don’t want to look like a shoe stalker…

I’ll check back in after my day of shopping and let you all know what I find. Wish me luck!
