The search for my undergarments is complete. One thing I never thought I’d have to worry about? His undergarments. Us ladies know that when you wear white, you have to be choosy about what goes underneath because it’s never a pretty sight to see someone’s bra peeking through their white tee…

Though, never in my life did I think I’d have to worry about Mr. Nachos’ under-roos, but alas, he’s wearing white pants and any color WILL show through – not quite to this extent, but you get the picture!

After a ton of searching, I was shocked to discover that although nude colored underwear is plentiful in the world of women’s underwear, it’s not a staple in the world of menswear. We searched. And searched. And FINALLY found a pair on a rather risque website, but at that point he was willing to take what he could get. Since he bought dinner that night, I decided I would be the one to whip out the credit card and pay $25 for his skivvies. I don’t even pay that much for my bras! Buying men’s underwear was honestly a first for me. The funniest part? Like all of my online shopping deliveries, I had his underwear delivered to my work because if a signature is required, we will most likely not be home to sign, and the doggies haven’t figured out how to open the door.

When it arrived, my boss was in the conference room just feet away from me, and I decided it wasn’t the best time to open up the package, so I waited until he was gone. I pulled them out of the box and they were a little shorter than expected (not quite boxer brief length, like we thought) but they’d do the job! Who knew shopping for men’s underwear would be a wedding challenge I’d have to face?

If you had told me 6 months ago that I’d have Mr. Nachos’ underwear in my hand at the office, I would have laughed at you. Apparently, wedding planning makes people do strange things, but at least I know his behind-the-scenes friend Peter won’t be making an appearance in our wedding album. No need for our photographer to tell him to turn a little to the left.

A little more… a little mmmmoooooorrrrreeeeee… eh, just turn around.
