Mrs. Cowboy Boot's Picture
Mrs. Cowboy Boot, Santa Fe Age and Occupation: 25, Magazine Editor Fiance's Age and Occupation: 29, Artist and Whitewater Rafting Guide Engagement Date: April 28th, 2008 Wedding Date: October 2009 Venue: Devil's Thumb Ranch, Colorado About Me: I grew up in Los Angeles and have since lived in San Diego, Boston, Italy, Hawaii, New York City, and Santa Fe. I speak Italian and love pasta. My real passion is the outdoors, though. When I'm not at work, I'm snowboarding, hiking with my two dogs, mountain biking, surfing, cross-country-skiing, or boating New Mexico's rivers. Despite my boyish love for adventure, I'm a girly-girl at heart and am overly-excited to pull off the romantic, vintage-inspired, country wedding of my dreams.
About Mrs. Cowboy Boot

Soon after the first dance and father-daughter dance ended, everyone was on the dance floor. One of our friends is a square-dance “caller”, meaning he calls the next move at square dance events, so thanks to him, everyone was having a blast dosey-doe-ing.

that does look like so much fun! Love weddings when there is dancing like that - makes the whole night!

Does anyone tell you your husband looks like Chris Martin from Coldplay?

Did you have any instructions for those who didn’t know how to square dance? And I’m sorry your dress got ripped! Good thing for the belt!

What a fun party! My bustle broke just before my reception, so I had to hold it the whole time I was dancing!

Looks like lots of fun! I love that there was square dancing! There were kids break dancing at our wedding, too. Must be the thing to do these days. The band sounds great!

Dude, you guys rocked out. :)

I have your dress’s cousin (the Maribel) and all I did was twirl around in it. I want it to come in so I can TWIRL MORE.

Love, love, love, and love how Mama CB broke it down. :p

@mander411: No one’s said that, but I definitely think that in certain pictures. He’s cute, huh? ; )

@Ms. Library: We didn’t really square dance at all, but the dosey doe-ing ended up happening naturally. Our friend who’s the “caller” really just kept the dancing alive since he loves it so much.

He is adorable! You two make one haute couple - and seriously through all your re-caps so far I have been trying to figure who it was he looks like - then from the pics in this post I finally realized.

okay, the chicken dance doesn’t sound so bad when it’s coming from a bluegrass band!

I go to one square dance during the year and it is so fun but such a workout! I love the way your dress twirls.
