YES! Today, after a five-month search, I got these in the mail:

And the Search is Officially Over! : wedding shoes 14 boots

If you remember, months ago I shared my idea (actually, my dream) of wearing purple cowgirl boots the day of my wedding. Well, in that post I got a lot of help from readers who shared places and brands I could take a look at. I found some that were really close to what I wanted, but they were out of my budget, and the ones that were within my budget were either too busy or the wrong shade.

For months I searched every single week for purple Western boots in the vintage section over at Etsy and on eBay. After all this time finally I found these vintage boots for only $20.00! smile040

As soon as I got them I took my shoes off to try these beauties on! They fit perfectly but I definitely have to wear them in because they are kind of hard. They do need a deep cleaning, but that’s it! I’m so excited!

After i got my boots I rushed to our backyard to take pictures of my purple shoes; the ones I bought a long time ago.

I have thoughts about making some kind of flowers to pin to the fronts of the shoes, but I guess I have to see how it looks.

For now, I’m so happy with my purple babies!

Have any of you found your wedding shoes on eBay? Did you have to search for your shoes outside of the traditional shoe shops? Where did you find the most interesting collection of shoes?

Those shoes are gorgeous! I ended up finding my shoes after a recommendation from a UK wedding forum and I’m so hugely glad that 5 month search is over!

aaaah Those purple boots remind me of college. I had almost the same pair! (except mine were snake skin, not spade). Lately I have been scouring ebay for a good pair of boots. You’ve given me hope!

AWESOME! I wore blue cowboy boots for my wedding (I am a cowgirl) and everybody LOVED them. Honestly people took more pics of the boots than of me! You will rock out in them!
