Over the weekend, Mr. Parfait received a big box in the mail. I get overly excited about mail, so I bounced in circles around him, asking him what was inside. And GUESS WHAT HE SAID?

“Probably my wedding ring.”

Oh my-eeeeeeeeee!!!

I cheered him on as he opened the box. Then there was another box. And then a plastic package! Oh, the suspense!

It was taking way too long. Here’s a steak knife to help, love!

By the time we got to the little white box, he was doubled over in laughter. I was dancing and singing about rings and boxes at some point. I couldn’t contain my excitement!

Amazing. It’s amazing! Why is this simple little ring so amazing?

It’s shiny! Oooh~
He’s going to be wearing this from April until… forever! (Heehee, you’d think I was writing this post to scare him.)
Whenever we looked at men’s rings, he gave me his “I’m not feeling this” look. This is the ring that changed his mind about rings—it looked awesome on his hand!
It’s symbolic of his commitment. I am beyond sentimental, and just looking at the ring already makes me teary-eyed.
It’s also a mark of his heritage, because he’ll be wearing it on his right hand, the way all Serbs wear it—so says his Tata.

I don’t know a girl who wasn’t excited about her own ring. But, tell me, were you excited about his?

I probably would have been excited if I hadn’t been SUPER STRESSED about the engraving! We were keeping it a secret and I didn’t want to be too serious and sappy if he was going to use a quirky inside joke and I didn’t want to use a quirky inside joke or pet name if he was going to be serious and sappy AHH!

i’m excited about him wearing a ring. i often look at this left hand and smile. kind of like how he does to mine!

Yes, I was super excited when he got his ring. The only thing that kept me from bouncing off the walls was the fact that we were in our jeweler’s house and I don’t know her that well.

Yep! We bought it wayyyy early- I think i did a little dance in the Tiffany store. I make him try it on every few weeks and I get excited all over again. We are going to have to get it sized, as he and I both have amazing shrinking fingers.

We ordered our wedding rings with my engagement ring since the jeweler gave us an awesome package deal. When we got them and he tried his on- on the excitement! It made everything real. It also made me happy to see how happy he was with it. Woot woot!

I’m so excited to see Mr Moo wear his ring! He’s also not a ring person and his ring totally changed his mind - and the symbolism of our two rings together just makes me smile and giggle like a little girl

I just received his ring today! And yes I was super excited. Actually more excited than with my own ring. I also was more excited looking for his band than mine. I think we spent way too many months looking for my engagement ring that I got tired of it a bit.
