Gifting the Groom - Revisited

December 18th, 2009 @ 6:14 pm by Mrs. Cheeseburger

Remember this debacle:

Well, it was really bothering me that it sucked so much, and I really did want to do this - yes, as a present for Mr. Burger, but also as something to remember the day by.

So after watching like 10 minutes of embroidery videos on YouTube and purchasing an embroidery loop, I tried again - with much improved results (at least I think so!).

Take a look:

Muuuuuch better. :)
Were you less-than-pleased with the results of any of your DIY projects? Did you let them be, or did you do them over?

It looks great! Good job and way to keep at a project even if it didn’t turn out the way you wanted the first time! I’ve been known to toss a project out of the window if it didn’t easily come to me at the beginning. :P

I think the first one was cute but the latest one is definitely more “professional” (for lack of a better term haha) Great job!!

I liked the first one, too, but the second one definitely looks more polished and romantic! Great job!

You know, I liked the first one. But the second one looks amazing! After only 10 minutes of youtube videos? I’m seriously impressed!

Yay for youtube! I’ve taught myself quite a few ridiculous crafts from youtube… yarn spinning anyone? This one definitely looks more advanced, but I think they are both cute.. you should give him the second one on the honeymoon or something and add “tube” to the end :)

What a lovely thing to gift to Mr. Burger. I LOVE the line that you used. (I soooo heart the Beach Boys!)
