Mrs. Spaniel's Picture
Mrs. Spaniel, Los Angeles Age and Occupation: 28, Law Student Fiance's Age and Occupation: 29, Psychologist Wedding Date: March 2010 Venue: Calamigos Ranch About Me: I'm a third-year law student trying to balance graduating with starting my career, keeping up a relationship, and, oh yeah, planning an Old World, multi-cultural, "mountain lodge" wedding for 180 guests! A South Asian Jewish girl getting ready to marry my handsome Catholic Dane, I'm hoping to blend our cultures in our wedding just a bit more gently than by providing samosas as appetizers and offering æbleskiver for dessert. (Although that would also be awesome.)
About Mrs. Spaniel

This year, Mr. Spaniel and I are sharing our first Christmas tree. I never had one growing up (we didn’t do “Hanukkah Bushes” ’round these parts!), and I’m kind of loving the smell of the tree in the living room! We’d like to start a tradition of ornament exchanges, but since we’re just starting out this year and aren’t bringing any of our own ornaments into this relationship, our gifts to each other are packages of aluminum balls for $2.99 from Ross. ;) But, another year…

I found this ornament at Orna Mentz, and I immediately thought of a gold rosary, wrapped around a bouquet of white roses. So, I made a white and gold wedding inspiration board!

If I was having a Christmas wedding, gold would have been color. Sigh. The earrings are beautiful.

I love this! Our colors were ivory, gold, champagne and black, so I could have used those chargers!

That is SO gorgeous! I’m just not classy enough to pull it off. My idea of doing my hair is blowdrying it. i got out with my hair wet 99.999999% days of the year. Even when its 5 degrees.
