A Registry Christmas

December 31st, 2009 @ 5:52 pm by Mrs. Frozen Yogurt

Getting married a few months after Christmas is awesome. When someone asked me what we might like for Christmas, I just said, “Well, you can always get something for us off of our registry.” And several of our family members decided to do just that.

I haven’t talked about our registry experience yet, but I’ll save that for another post. What I will say though, is that we chose to register at Crate and Barrel and Amazon. Amazon lets you add things from any website through their universal registry program, which I love! Oh, and Mr. Fro Yo really didn’t do much of the registering, so he was really surprised when he opened up the gifts. :)

Do you want to see what we got?

From Crate and Barrel:

A Registry Christmas : wedding registry 1 1

And from Z Gallerie:

A Registry Christmas : wedding registry 2 2

I could not wait to get home and start using our new gifts!!

Did anyone else have a Registry Christmas?

Excellent registry presents! I love those little glass vases. It makes me kinda sad that our registries are completed now and I have no more presents coming from them.

I love Z Gallerie. :) We got some gifts from our Macy’s registry for Christmas, too! I know some people aren’t crazy about the idea… but we have a very spartan home right now and it’s pretty exciting. ;)

We did! Shoot and we’ve been married for over a year, but we still have a few things left, so my MIL surprised us by buying us a couple things off our C&B registry.

How awesome. We didn’t do the registry for Christmas b/c we just got engaged, but what a great idea! You got some really great stuff. Can’t wait to read more about your registry experience.

LOVE Z Gallerie!!! One of my favorite places… we don’t have one anywhere near here, which makes me so so sad.

We got a set of All Clad stainless steel cookware, which wasn’t on our registry but should have been! I cannot wait to start receiving more registry items!

A few people asked what we wanted for Christmas and I did say they could get something off our registry. We have yet to get anything though. Oh well!

I had just posted about this on the boards.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a registry permantly?! People would always know what to get you!

That’s great! We are waiting until the end of Jan. to register. We were afraid if we did it too early that 1. People would buy us registry gifts for Christmas (the wedding is in September) and 2. Some of the items wouldn’t be available closer to our wedding.

Glad you got some awesome gifts!

Yay! I plan to ask for gifts from our registry next year for Christmas. It’s so easy, haha.

Yes! Mr. GP’s family definitely shopped our registry for Christmas, it was great! We got a new set of (nice) sheets, and his sisters got us Apples to Apples (which we had totally registered for, ha).
