Today, I took some more glamour shots of my engagement ring because, well, because I felt like it. I’d never actually taken the time to sit down and do an only-engagement-ring set of pikchas, so it was long overdue. I also went non-traditional, which is pretty dang obvious. (And also not too surprising.)
I probably went a little overboard, but what else is new. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has gone a little slap-happy with a ring shoot. Right?
Who else went a little crazy taking shots of their fantastic engagement ring?
The book shots are super cool! I love the face ones. What book is that? Take pictures of my ring is next on my to-do list, which you would have thought would have already happened in a year and a half of engagement…
I tried to go crazy…. but most of them didn’t come out. 
Your posts crack me up! Pics look great! I need to sit down and take some of my ring soon too or it will think I don’t love it enough…and we can’t have that!
I tried as well, but with my regular old digital camera, few came out well! I do like this one though…

Sooo cute. I’m obsessed with that ring too. My wife and I were on a budget and bought cheap bands for ourselves, so I want to upgrade to that one!

Love the photos, Scissors! My top two favorites are the one with the “They never told me you were beautiful…” quote, and the happy face with the ring looking like it’s a top hat! And suuuuch a beautiful ring. I wanna see it on your hand! We need some perspective!

Those are fantastic! I took a whole bunch of ring shots too in various locations. After seeing that fabulous Anne Ruthmann tutorial a while back, I don’t know how you couldn’t love trying out some ring shots!
I never took pictures of my ring. I had my photographer take some at the wedding though.

What kind of stone is that? I also love the setting. It is really modern and fresh. I also have a non traditional ring. Mine is a pink sapphire. I am really happy with it.

These are great! Did you do some post-shot editing on the first ones, or did they just come straight out of the camera like that? And where did you put the ring for the first shots (with the white background) . . .? Lovely . . .
