Hey, hive! It’s Mrs. Glitter. Remember me? Is this thing on?

It’s been a while since I last wrote about our wedding. Time has gotten away from me. But I figure now is as good of a time as any to continue my recaps. Let’s start the new year off strong, right?

When I last left you I was up in the bridal suite. We stayed upstairs while the finishing touches were put on the ceremony room and the guests were beginning to arrive. The bouquets were ready and waiting anxiously to be walked down the aisle.

We were told to go downstairs, and my mind was racing. I was overcome with emotion, and literally felt light-headed. There was so much going on around us. Everything was a blur.

It didn’t help matters that our venue was an absolute zoo on our wedding day. There was a child model casting taking place at the hotel. I also learned on the elevator ride down (thanks to a very friendly teenager with hot pink hair) that there was a monster rave going on that night across the street. Needless to say, the hotel lobby was as rowdy as a Super Bowl party for a while. Some things simply cannot be avoided no matter how hard and long you plan. But, the Biltmore had our backs. There were so many wonderful people working on our wedding.

As silly as this sounds, I felt like royalty. Take a look at the line of attendants standing at the entrance to our ceremony room. I was awestruck.

We made it downstairs in one piece and the entire wedding party gathered outside the ceremony room.

Mr. G and I had one last conversation pre-ceremony. He told me that he was just as nervous as I was, and then we each promised to catch the other if one of us passed out during the ceremony.

My bustle needed help. My mom and MOH worked on it while the flower girls watched.

I love this one. My parents are both looking at me with such love.

I’m ready. Please don’t throw up.

The ceremony room doors closed.

The guests quieted down, the string quartet waited for their cue, and at the other end of the aisle, Mr. G looked on. It was time to get married…
