OK, I know you guys are like, get on with the wedding already, but I’ve got one more batch of portraits to share first. These are the photos of our amazingly photogenic wedding party!
To start things off, the guys (or should I say “dudes”?) rockin’ their skinny ties.

Yeah, this one pretty much rules.

I love this next one. The Dude has known the two guys on either side of him since junior high! And he’s been friends with his Best Man since college.

Now for the ladies. I got pretty lucky in that I had the two most beautiful and awesome flower girls to ever exist. I know everyone says that, but seriously: take a look at these pictures and try to deny it.

I loved their little bouquets. I thought carrying bouquets would seem more grown up than throwing petals–I hope the girls weren’t too disappointed that they didn’t get to sprinkle petals down the aisle. I told them to whack The Dude and me really hard with petals during our exit to make up for the lack of petals during the ceremony!

Don’t forget about my other ladies! The formal shots of me and my bridesmaids feel kind of stiff, but I love how the ones of us laughing came out. I think everyone but me felt a bit silly doing the fake laughing, but I literally could not hold back my joy at this point of the day. Every laugh you see, though orchestrated, is completely genuine.

Um, is it just me or are they all looking at me like I’m crazy?

The ones with all six of us are my faves.

This close-up really shows off the black birdcages that I gave the girls to wear. Thanks for the idea, Mrs. Avocado!

Finally, the girls and guys came together for some group shots. I love how you can see a frolicking flower girl if you look closely.

This next one is my “I’m about to pee my pants I’m so happy” pose. Everyone seems amused.

At this point, teeny drops were starting to land on us and the sky was darkening. Uh oh!

Luckily we got in a few more shots before the rain started to come down harder.
If you squint really hard at the next shot, you can see my two brothers in the top left corner. When they saw this photo on our photographer’s blog, they thought it was hilarious–they look like miniature people.

I got to spaz out one more time before we headed indoors to get ready for the ceremony.

Up next: We get married!
