When Sharon and I were at David’s bridal picking up my dress from alterations, we decided to have a little girly-time and play dress-up when they were de-bustling my dress. I tried on a cute little black dress that was a teensy bit short for my tastes, and Sharon grabbed 3 different dresses that she liked. Although she wasn’t really in the mood to play dress up, she tried them on (he he, I can be very persistent and persuasive when I want to be). Here were the contenders for her beach wedding attire…

She tried this one on in green, and although it was pretty, the braided halter was too tight and satin is always unforgiving (although she’d look great in a potato sack, let alone a pretty dress).
Next up was a cute little floral number…

This one was so cute and on sale for $60. It’s a little longer than it looks on the model, but it totally works and the only one they had in the store fit her perfectly.
The third one up was a print dress with white on top that flowed into greens and oranges towards the bottom and was on sale for $30! I unfortunately can’t find a pic on David’s website, but it doesn’t matter anyway, as she never tried it on. Once she had that second one on, we both knew it was perfect for the wedding and she snatched that baby right up.
