Remember the waxy votives I got from my future mother-in-law’s basement?
I took your advice and threw them in the dishwasher…
I have to say, I was a little skeptical and had visions of pulling them out and still having to scrub them with the wax remover, but…
They’re like brand new! Oh my friends, I will never doubt you again. And this is why I love you all. Thanks for the tip!

They look great! And much faster than scrubbing them individually!
I used those same votives in my wedding (the ones in your top photo). If you need more I’m selling mine right now!

there’s a reason we all love weddingbee! I’ve gotten so much advice from here, I’m not sure how people planned weddings before the internet (and weddingbee)! congrats, they look great!

Wow, I never would have guessed that would work for some reason! I guess the hot water really is hot 
Muuuuuch easier than sticking them in the freezer and then scraping frozen wax out, ha!

That’s a great tip! I would have probably scrubbed them all, gotten frustrated, and then given up.
