As I shared in my last post, everything was very last minute for our engagement shoot, but everything seemed to work out so perfectly. I could not have been any happier about our photographer Cat’s idea of shooting at Union Station, in downtown LA. It was a pretty rainy (actually, stormy) day, but due to Mr. Poodle’s schedule, we just had to do them that day.
On our way there Mr. Poodle asked me if I remembered the umbrellas. I ran to the truck, taking advantage of a moment when it wasn’t raining to go get it. Note to self: Duh! Rain and curls do not mix!
Once we got there we took our raincoats off and proceeded with the FUN part! Want a sneak peek?
Adi, our photographer of the day, was kind of worried because it was so cloudy outside that the light inside was not teh best, so we moved from one window to another while people smiled and stared at us. We felt like celebrities—it was so much fun!

This has to be one of my favorite shots. We actually had to run into the rain and pose. I was freezing but I love this shot! A special thanks to Adi for letting me use his purple umbrella. How fitting is that for ME?
After that we used the extra change of clothes we had in our bags and headed to the subway. I had to have some purple on for some of the pics!
I love this one, too! It was so much fun because at home I was a daily user of our subway, and when Mr. Poodle went to visit, we traveled around on the subway pretty much every day, so it felt like we were in Chile again.
I loved all the pictures they blogged! They absolutely Rocked our e-session! I am a HAPPY HAPPY bride! I’d like to thank Next Exit Photography for ding such an amazing job!

It rained on our engagement pic session day too, but we did manage to score a 2 hour window were it cleared up for us to go with our original location plan.

these are awesome! you two are adorable. and i love the travel/transit motif. doesn’t look like you guys lost out on any fun or awesome pics because of that rain, and actually that shot of you two kissing under the umbrella is one of my favs!

Wow! The one with the purple umbrella is my favorite. And I love how the little touches of red pop in the first set! And without trying to sound creepy, you have great legs!
