About Mrs. French Bulldog

Today is the LAST DAY to join the swap! Click here for more information and FAQs!

~~~
Dust off your glue guns and bust out some glitter, because love is in the air (more so than usual, around here) and it’s time for the 3rd Annual Weddingbee Valentine’s Day Swap!
Like last year’s swap, we’ll be using Swap-bot to help with the coordination.
Here’s how it works:
1 - Start by creating an account at Swap-Bot. (If you participated last year, you’re already set up. Just take a moment to make sure all your info is current.) Please note that your address will only be shared by your swap partners (otherwise, where will they mail your Valentine?!). Once you’ve signed up, request to join the Weddingbee group. Once you receive a group acceptance, you can sign up for the Weddingbee Valentine Swap! The swap is a private one and not open to the Swap-Bot public. Only those in the Weddingbee group can participate in the swap.
2 - On January 30, you will receive an email containing the addresses of the 3 other swap participants you’ll be sending your Valentines to. Once you are signed up and the sign-up date has passed, you will not be able to drop out, so please sign up only if you are sure you can participate. We want everyone to receive a Valentine!
3 - Create handmade Valentines (or if you’re not so crafty, it’s a proven fact that adding loads of candy to pseudo handmade Valentines always sweetens the deal!).
4 - Take photos of your fabulous handmade Valentines before you mail them out and email them to WBValentine2010 (at) yahoo (dot) com. They will be included in a post on Weddingbee about the swap in February.
5 - Package your Valentines and send one to each person on your participant list by February 9th (that’s a Tuesday). If you are going to be late, please contact your swap participants. We want to make sure that everyone who has signed up to participate gets their Valentines.
6 - Check the mailbox like a crazy bride waiting for her RSVPs, because you’ve got sweet handmade Valentine’s Day cards coming from your Weddingbee pals!
*A note on International shipping: We do not have the ability to specify how many international addresses you will get, so please plan for that. We also do not have the ability to create U.S. domestic-only swap groups.
Not quite sure what to make? Check out the previous swaps here, here, & here for inspiration!
So is January 29th or so the deadline to sign up since the addresses go out January 30th?- I’m not sure if I’m creative enough for this haha, but it sounds fun!
@Helstrong: According to the weddingbee swapbot group page, January 29th is the last day to sign up. Doooo it! :) And no worries about being creative; regardless if you’re creative or not, who doesn’t love getting snail mail….that isn’t a bill. :)
it looks like if you joined last year, you are automatically joined in the weddingbee group. i didn’t have to do anything else, the only other option is to “leave group”. so excited!!! it’s nice to get a handmade card instead of monthly bills.
I search for WB, find it, click on it, see Options but under that (where other group pages say Join This Group) I see nothing, just a gray line.
Perhaps the page is aware of my lack of crafting skill and doesn’t want me!
