One snowy weekend a while back, I decided to give my ring the glamour photo shoot it’s been asking for (e-rings love to talk, yeah?). I relented and gave in. Our first shoot was attempted using artificial light. I won’t even show you the sad results. Then, inspired my fellow bees, including beautiful Miss Buttons’ photos of her e-ring with, what else, buttons, and finally following the advice of Anne Ruthmann, I managed to create some decent-ish shots. Aspiring photog I am; actually good, I am not:
For a long time, I only had photos of my ring that included my spidery fingers:
So I am really happy to have new ones that highlight my ring itself!
Have you done a ring photo shoot? Do you have any tips beyond the amazing advice Anne gives? What backdrops/props did you use?
I need to do a ring shoot. I’ve attempted a few times, but was never happy with the results.

I took a couple pics of my ring. One I put it in a bow on a present. It turned out pretty cute! Yours turned out amazing!!!! So pretty!

I just love your ring. The canary yellow is beautiful And I have to disagree with you—these photos are not just good they are awesome!! Fabulous job! The one photo looking from the underside of your stone at the pencils is quite cool

Ooh, awesome shots Pencils! I did do a glamour shot. Now that our wedding bands are here they’re wanting to get in on the action! I might have to do another just to satisfy them
